About David Palmer

Public health professional and MPH Epidemiology graduate with experience leading community-engaged research and implementation studies focused on health equity. My work spans HIV prevention and treatment adherence, hypertension implementation in safety-net clinical settings, homelessness and housing feasibility research, and mental health disparities.I have served in program management and research leadership roles, coordinating multi-site partnerships, managing IRB and reporting requirements, and directing mixed-methods and data-driven analyses. My technical experience includes geospatial analysis (ArcGIS Pro/StoryMaps), statistical analysis in R, Stata, and SAS, and qualitative methods such as interviews, focus groups, and thematic analysis.I’m especially interested in work that translates data into actionable insights for policy, practice, and underserved communities.
