The Portfolio Management team is responsible for portfolio-level planning, budget development and management, change management, and governance. The team maintains productive relationships with business area leaders and business architecture to inventory project needs, plan the inclusion of projects on the roadmap based on enterprise need, ROI, and resource capacity. The team also forecasts and manages budget and spending and facilitates the movement of projects and teams through governed stage gates. My role is to lead these portfolio management efforts with the support of Portfolio Analysts and other colleagues, while acting as the primary liaison with business customers. I assist in overseeing work request intake and routing, and manage the pipeline of projects moving from planning into execution to ensure appropriate sequencing, staging, and prioritization. I also help lead roadmap development and budgeting and am responsible for proactive change management and budget forecasting to ensure that the enterprise roadmap continuously meets organizational needs within budgeted parameters.
