Provide forensic biomechanics, accident reconstruction, and mechanical design consulting services to insurance carriers, law firms, and corporate clients in regards to the evaluation and analysis of damage/failure to mechanical and biomechanical systems• Primary areas of consulting expertise include: vehicle accident reconstruction, injury causation biomechanics, general biomechanical analysis, medical device design, testing, and failure analysis• Specific services include: accident site investigation; evidence retrieval; accident reconstruction; analysis of injury consistency with vehicle accidents, slips, trips, falls, falling objects, or other accidental events; biomechanical motion studies to determine injury potential/causation, seatbelt use, or effects of airbag interaction; determination and comparison of mechanical and biomechanical forces, loads, interactions, kinetics/dynamics, and kinematics; legal counsel; expert trial/arbitration/deposition testimony; analysis, examination, review, and rebuttal of expert testimony• Specific assignments completed covered: vehicle damage consistency following motor vehicle accidents; biomechanical injury consistency following various-severity frontal, rear-end, side, rollover, and side-swipe motor-vehicle accidents; biomechanical injury consistency following slips, trips, and falls in grocery stores, restaurants, and restrooms; biomechanical injury consistency of falling objects, mechanical failure of exercise equipment and rigid medical devices; and injury mechanism determination following injuries/fatalities.
