ABOUT DARRYL KROBEL
I am a results-oriented professional engineer with >20 years of experience in reservoir, exploitation and petroleum engineering in the oil and gas industry. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to work a wide range of assets from conventional oil and gas plays in Western and Southern Africa to heavy oil/unconventional (tight/shale/CSG) gas in Western Canada and fractured basement in Yemen. While possessing a passion for excellence in technical engineering work, I’ve also developed valuable experience in the economics and business development side of the industry through previous area-based asset exploitation roles. Recently I have shifted career path into upstream energy insurance as a Risk Engineer, providing me increased exposure to the full breadth of international energy operations and projects.
