Creative Writer/Content Producer specializing in branded content for TV, social and live events. Formerly known for my work as a poet, digital marketing executive and teaching artist specializing in connected learning, performance art, and hip-hop pedagogy for teens and teachers. After receiving a B.A. in Advertising and 1 year of working at the Mayor’s Office of NYC, I worked as digital communications director of Urban Word NYC. Managing multicultural programming focusing on fostering creativity and digital literacy for urban youth. After 5 years, several ad agency partnerships and awards I decided to take things to the next level creatively and professionally as a creative culturist. My passion meets at the intersection of creativity, culture, and content. My experience with nonprofits and corporations has exposed me to the rigid systems that have been lost to metaphors in my double life as a spoken word artist. I’ve been fortunate to navigate hundreds of young people through the digital divide and create a platform to share stories as experiential events, public space art, and poetry.
