Currently responsible for labor and employee relations for 2 business units, Missles and Fire Control and Space Systems, as well as all international labor relations across all 4 business areas. Currently leads a team of 17 direct reports; responsible for all aspects of labor and employee relations for 2 business units with $15B in annual revenue, including leading 16 bargaining units covering domestic union employees and non-represented employees. Additionally oversees global union employees spread across Canada, UK, Poland, Australia and New Zealand. Transformed these areas into Centers of Expertise labor relations models. Awarded Lockheed Martin’s highest honor – the NOVA Award - for role in completing Canadian acquisition in only 3 months and negotiating complex Collective Bargaining Agreement within 3 days. In 2014, led 12 negotiations with a positive impact to company of $100+M. These negotiations covered 3,500 represented FTEs, with a cost avoidance of Ten of Millions of dollars and a forward pricing impact 2x that amount annually, yielding Hundreds of Millions of dollars over 5 years. Increased focus on labor and human rights achieved Industry Best Score for Labor Practice Indicators and Human Rights on the 2016 Dow Jones Sustainability Index, 138% higher than industry average. Implemented relationship-centric bargaining model for CBA Negotiations with UAW affecting 1,700 FTEs. Tapped to resolve decades of dysfunction, and in only 3 years fundamentally reformed labor relations approach to slash grievance activity by 72% for an annual reduction over $1M. Furthermore, cut legal claims from 20/year to Zero, cutting several Hundred thousand. Over past 2 years, delivered on 20 business imperatives outside the scope of CBAs, plummeting costs by over $10M. Eliminated need for 8 high-level employees, dropping expenses over $1M.
