Dan has been retained by BluSea Foundation as a technical advisor to the management team. His principal responsibilities include the assessment of promising emergent technical solutions as they relate to mitigating the various environmental stressors that negatively impact Hawaii\'s coral reefs, including all local anthropogenic causes. In this role, Dan is charged by the Foundation to draw upon his broad science/engineering background to perform technology feasibility studies and due diligence, in an effort to determine if certain candidate technologies, methodologies, and practices indeed have merit and are worthy of promotion and support.
