   Darren Morahan founded Cougar Offshore in April 2009 which is fully incorporated in the State of Texas. Cougar Offshore offers dedicated specialized consultancy services to the oil and gas industry. Cougar Offshore specializes in integrity management, assessment, repair, decommissioning and design of offshore structures. Projects ongoing and undertaken to date include structural integrity management of over a 5th of GOM platforms, assessment of platforms to API RP2A and 2INT-EX, decommissioning, FEA of subsea tooling components, assurance on offshore lifts, establishment of technical limits and feasibility study on a proposed rig addition to a large `deep\' water fixed platform.Consultant 20••••09Darren Morahan provided consultancy services to BP decommissioning group as their chosen Structural Technical Authority on the decommissioning of shelf assets. Notable projects include the high profile reef in place and toppling of EI322 P&D. Responsibilities included assurance over contractors, assessment of platforms, toppling analyses, design of pull frames, MMS submissions, reef applications and assurance offshore.
