ABOUT DAVID HOLLOWS CERT

I am a highly experienced HSE Consultant/Manager with experience both offshore and onshore on WindFarms,Biomass and Energy from waste plants.My previous career was as an operational Firefighter/Fire Officer in a local authority Fire Service which i proudly served for 20 years. The Fire Service is a crucial part of the community and we provided Emergency resonse to a wide range of incidents,rescued people and animal as well as providing Emergency care as well as conducting fire safety inspections and educating the public on the devedtaing effects of fire.I then worked offshore for 9 years, initially in an Emergency response role in a dedicated Emergency Response team on Gwynt-Y-Mor windfarm.The Emergency Response role includes Rope Access/Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Breathing Apparatus wearer, Swift Water Rescue and Advanced Medical Training. This enables the team to assess and stabilize a casualty, administer pain relief and evacuate the casualty by the appropriate method.I was appointed Project manager for the subsequent ERT operation at Galloper Wind farm Suffolk and this has given me an insight into the organization and day to day running of a windfarm under construction and all the challenges it brings.I then progressed to a number of HSE roles around the UK, building up my knowledge and competence in various health and safety environment\'s.I am dedicated and driven, with solid expertise in overseeing safety systems and processes whilst ensuring effective communication at all levels.I possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships with workers and Stakeholders.
