About David Fitzpatrick
After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences, I am thrilled to leverage my expertise in satellite dynamics, embedded flight software and systems engineering, and statistical estimation to contribute to Draper Laboratory’s mission of strengthening U.S. space capabilities through innovation in guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.I believe that the world is entering a new space era, one which will be marked by a society that once again chooses to take risks as inconceivable as putting a man on the moon. Satellite mega-constellations, hypersonic weapons, the race to Mars - these are just a sampling of the most daring ventures humanity will take in the coming years. I want to be a part of the generation of engineers who take those risks.
