I have over 10 years of experience spanning social impact research, data analysis, university teaching, and community-based work. I help companies, governments, and development institutions identify and manage social and gendered risks associated with large-scale projects by delivering clear, impartial, and data-driven analysis. My work supports ESIAs, stakeholder engagement, and social risk management by strengthening accountability, reducing friction with communities, and preventing costly conflicts over the project life cycle.My core expertise lies in quantitative and causal analysis of gender and social impacts in extractives and development contexts. This work is informed by practice-facing engagement through community-based work with refugees and immigrants, strengthening my ability to interpret findings and translate evidence into actionable insights. My research on gender-inclusive local content policies, published in The Extractive Industries and Society, examines how policy design shapes women’s economic participation in mining-affected communities.Following my master’s training, I gained applied experience in questionnaire design and qualitative analysis through a research internship. This background informs how I interpret quantitative findings and engage with stakeholders.Over the years, I have taught hundreds of university students and supervised nearly 60 policy-relevant research projects focused on real-world development and governance challenges, translating complex data into practical recommendations.Beyond research, I have supported asylum seekers, refugees, women returnees, and other immigrants by providing guidance, employment access, and livelihood support, strengthening socio-economic inclusion and self-sufficiency in different contexts.
