I\'m proud to describe myself as a voracious learner and aspiring leader. My professional career has afforded me the opportunity to work with some amazing people and acquire a wealth of business and technical knowledge that I will forever be grateful for. I\'m excited to share a bit of me here to give you a small glimpse into the person that I am, some of the highlights of my journey and what I\'m proud to bring to my profession.DJ QUANTIFIED Through creative direction and collaborative team thinking, I helped guide a modest support services staff to a reduction in service calls by more than 30%. Through vendor/contract negotiations and software/hardware alternatives, I was able to achieve roughly $135K in reduced costs to the functional IT unit in FY2016 and a further $30K projection for FY2017. Demonstrated skills and abilities in optimization and design that led to a 99.5% uptime with on-premises servers.DJ\'s SUPERPOWERS I pride myself on engaging entire teams and helping to bring the best out of everyone. I don\'t believe that success comes from any one person nor should the credit of success be attributed to any one person. I pride myself on doing my best work when it counts the most. Considering the frantic culture we currently live and work in, I\'m not sure that working best \"under pressure\" quite sums it up. These days we\'re ALWAYS under pressure.DJ\'s KRYPTONITE My tenacity to complete the job at times will prove to be an obstacle in working more efficiently. Especially in situations where delegation is more appropriate and effective.DJ\'s VERVE If we\'re not playing hard after working hard, what\'s the point? I\'m all about team and business pride, loving what you do, and making a difference. Carpe Noctem. An apropos attribute, as much of what I do, tends to be after everyone has gone to sleep.Ultimately I\'m a relatively modest guy that merely wants to bring the best out of myself and others.
