ABOUT DJ THOMPSON

I have worked as a Chief Flight Instructor/Manager for over 5 years. During this period I have held many responsibilities such as- Teaching people how to fly (Private/Instrument/Commercial/Multi-Engine Ratings)- Managing flight school and staff - Directly responsible for customer/student satisfaction - Managing fleet of aircraft on the line and maintaining FAA airworthiness status - Maintaining safety guidelines related to FAA/TSA guidelines - Running a Flight Schedule Pro program, emails, and phone calls Coaching, leading, and volunteering explain my passions. I thoroughly enjoy helping others. I have had the privilege to volunteer with those who have special needs, ranging from young kids to adults since the age of 15. I have also had the honor to volunteer aircraft/piloting for the Veterans Airlift Command. This organization sets up flights for those who have been wounded in the military, and allow for easy and quick transportation to destinations where they can get help. I spent my youth playing baseball, and continued to play through college while obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Sport Management. Today, I continue to coach women\'s softball. At this time, in the Covid-19 world, I have decided to reshape my future and goals. With my skills in coaching, leadership, aviation, and managing, I intend to look for an opportunity that will best suit my abilities, and look forward to what the future holds.
