About Dj Kimsey

My name is Dj Kimsey and have worked at MAHLE for the past 19 years. I began in Morristown, Tennessee at our North American flagship production location. After the completion of MAHLE’s leadership development program, my family and I followed our adventurous spirit and moved to a suburb of Detroit, Michigan to work in the regional Headquarters. This experience has afforded me the opportunity to have collaborated across various departments and locations in the Marketing, Sales, and Controlling areas. My career then shifted gears out of our corporate structure into the Aftermarket Business unit serving as the North American Aftermarket Controller since 2020. The next chapter has started January 1, 2023 where I have the great privilege of serving as the Global Aftermarket Controller at Group Headquarters in Stuttgart Germany. Along the way I have had the opportunity to participate in the Executive development program, partner closely with operations teams, and have lead cross functional projects teams across the organization including : SAP go-live, Acquisition and integration, Lean six sigma, Global financial reporting, Product development process, Organizational Transformation and also played a role in the stand-up of our shared service center in Mexico. I am happily married (13 years and counting) to my wife Katie. We have 2 children, Paul and Annabelle. We love the great outdoors and spend our free time roaming the earth camping, hiking, and meeting the people and of course the food around us. Fly fishing is a challenging pursuit that never gets old and the link to the conservation of our natural resources creates a multiplier effect that drives the love of the sport in me.
