Are you ready for an electric conversation? The world of Talent Acquisition as we know it has evolved and businesses need to understand that without a strong Talent Management strategy in place, they are going to be left behind. Shaped by numerous world events and a tenacity to be the very best in the industry, I pride myself on working for businesses who are looking to the future and not those wanting or wishing to be back in the past. As the Talent Manager for Pod (part of the EDF family), I enable all individuals on their journey to build out the future of the EV and Sustainable Energy community, enabling lasting legacies to be built within the industry.Who Am I? With over a decade\'s worth of talent acquisition come talent management experience behind me, I have worked across some of the world\'s biggest brands, supporting them with the processes, framework and strategy to drive a best in class Talent Management function that provides the talent that\'s needed, at the most impactful time. I pride myself on my work-life integration approach to all that I do. Forever focussed on the “if you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life” mindset, complimented further my my own mantra of \"if you don\'t know, give it a go\", which has certainly given me some interesting experiences, projects and stories to share. Outside of the commercial world, I am a Personal Trainer focussed on enabling everybody to feel great. Whether the goal is to be leaner, or stronger, I offer tailored, 1:1 coaching in a private space. As well as this, people would say I am a self-acclaimed coffee connoisseur, gym-goer, avid golfer and family man to my gorgeous family at home - and prioritise all of these across my week. What Do I Actually Do? If you have got this far down, fair play to you! My mission / purpose is to give people like yourself a platform to look at what they are doing in the world a little bit differently. By holding up a mirror and being a sounding board to truly understand whether you are truly making the most of the opportunities in front of you, in this crazy game we call life.
