About Diya Simha

I started in policy because I care about how decisions get made.I expanded into strategy because I care about how results get delivered.At UC Davis, I’m a Political Science major + Technology Management minor exploring how strategy and research becomes execution. That work has taken me from Washington, D.C, where I analyzed tech policy, to Sacramento, where I learned how policy structure influences real outcomes. Most recently, I built a strategy roadmap for AI implementation in Virginia K-12 schools by identifying operational and communication gaps that helped stakeholder align incentives that improve AI adoption and student impact.On campus, I- Lead speaker outreach and logistics to deliver UC Davis’s largest women’s leadership conference, coordinating programming and engagement for 190+ attendees- Mentor team members across student organizations, ensuring initiatives move from concept to execution- Strengthened campus cohesion as an Anti-Bias Ambassador by facilitating inclusive community operations and events.No matter the environment, my mindset stays the same:diagnose the issue → design the solution → deliver the results.I’m interested in- Breaking down complex problems into actionable solutions- Making complex systems actually workI’m here to rethink how institutions deliver value.
