ABOUT DIYA LAHA
Diya Laha is a first-year student at the University of Calgary, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a concentration in Biological Sciences. As a recognized leader by the Canadian Student Leadership Association (CSLA) for receiving their National Bill Conconi Award and the Premier\'s Citizenship Award, both are awarded to one student with strong leadership skills and a passion for helping those in need. Diya\'s interests also expand towards research, where this past summer she researched the influences on electronic medical record documentation under the Centre of Health Informatics at the University of Calgary\'s Cumming School of Medicine. She hopes to continue her involvement in her community, as well as further her research skills and experience. In her free time, she enjoys being active and doing community service.
