About Dixon Grier

Throughout his more than 40 year career, Dixon has provided economic damage quantification analyses on thousands of assignments, many of which involve business interruption, extra expenses, employee dishonesty, lost profits, builders’ risk, stock and contents and physical property damage. From heavy manufacturing to hospitality, he has worked across a wide spectrum of industries. Dixon’s ability to effectively communicate final damage measurements in highly charged and contentious environments has allowed him to work on more than 100 litigation matters involving lost profits, personal injury, fraud and business disputes. As such, he is recognized as an expert witness in numerous United States courts and has provided his expertise in matters involving arbitration and mediation. Dixon lectures frequently on issues involving economic damages and has also authored or co-authored several papers. He served on the US firm\'s executive committee as well as the global executive committee. In addition, he opened the firm’s offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco and also helped oversee MDD’s expansion into Asia Pacific.
