About Deepak Dixit

Deepak is one of the founding members of HotWax Commerce.As VP of Technology, Deepak and his team are building Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native SaaS, and Headless Order Management platform. Deepak works closely with the leadership team to stay on top of the product roadmap. He leads the design and development of new features and solutions in HotWax Commerce and ensures that the platform is robust and scalable. Deepak also leads the innovation lab of HotWax Commerce. He and his team rapidly experiment with and evaluate new technologies and frameworks to continuously innovate and evolve the product.He has a strong technical competence and loves to design, architect, and code himself. Deepak began his career as a Software Engineer in HotWax Systems and led various projects and product development initiatives.He has a deep experience in delivering enterprise-grade eCommerce and Order Management solutions in the US, Europe, and Australia. Since 20098, he has served as a major contributor of Apache OFBiz and worked with clients including United Airlines, Computer Society, UPS, Essilor, Cabi, and Warby Parker. Deepak is also a committer and PMC member of the Apache OFBiz project, contributor in Moqui and member of Apache Software Foundation. When he is not coding, he misses coding.
