Raised in suburbia where a car is essential to survival. Exposed to mass transit through my travels around the world. I envision a country with accessible transportation for all Americans: self-driving vehicles for the military veterans who no longer can drive, ADA accessible sidewalks for all who brave our outdated streets, and extensive bicycle networks that encourage multi-modal travel. My job focuses on the design, planning, and operation of California\'s transportation network.
