ABOUT DIWAN OULAI

As a passionate and dedicated graduate student in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Manitoba, I am committed to making a tangible difference in the social services field. My journey has taken me from Cote d\'Ivoire to Ghana, and finally to Canada, driven by a deep-seated desire to empower vulnerable communities and foster social cohesion. My professional experience is diverse, encompassing roles as a Family Services Associate at Ronald McDonald House Charities, a Bilingual Program Interpreter at the Manitoba Children’s Museum, and a Project Staff member with Africa HPO. Each position has honed my ability to connect with people from various backgrounds, deliver exemplary customer service, and manage projects with precision and care. I am fluent in English and French, allowing me to bridge cultural gaps and communicate effectively in diverse settings. My roles have involved everything from conducting in-depth research and data analysis to mentoring students and leading youth programs. These experiences have not only enhanced my technical skills but also deepened my empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by different communities. At the heart of my career aspirations is a commitment to work with young people, empowering them through peace education and community building. I believe in the power of education and mentorship to transform lives, and I strive to be a positive role model wherever I go. My volunteer work, including mentoring new students and coordinating youth activities reflects my dedication to guiding and supporting others. As I continue to pursue my master\'s degree, I aim to leverage my academic knowledge and practical experience to create inclusive, supportive environments where everyone can thrive. I am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals and organizations that share my vision of a more equitable and peaceful world. Let\'s connect and explore how we can collaborate to make a meaningful impact.
