   During my internship as an Audit Assistant, I had the opportunity to work on-site at multiple financial institutions, where I developed a deeper understanding of how audits are conducted in real-world settings.I was part of audit assignments at the SBI Andheri Branch, which is dedicated to loan processing. My role involved reviewing loan documents, checking for compliance with banking regulations, and assisting in identifying discrepancies. I also worked at the Bank of Baroda, Jogeshwari East Branch, where I helped verify records and understand how internal controls operate in traditional banking environments.Another key experience was auditing Mangal Finance Corporation, an NBFC offering gold loans, business loans, and personal loans. This gave me a broader view of the lending landscape, especially outside the traditional banking system.A major part of my work included preparing daily audit observations and compiling monthly reports summarizing key findings. I used Microsoft Excel extensively for documentation, tracking remarks, and organizing client data efficiently.This internship helped me build a strong foundation in audit processes, financial analysis, compliance, and professional communication. It also gave me valuable exposure to the internal workings of both banks and NBFCs.
