Design, develop, and optimize CNC manufacturing processes for complex geometry landing gear components to ensure high quality and cost-effective production using CATIA V5. • Prepare and maintain manufacturing stage models for each machining process from raw material to customer-required finished condition in CATIA V5. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate MPS/APS and streamline processes, improving quality, increasing throughput, and reducing manufacturing costs. • Coordinate with fixture designers, tooling engineers, programmers, inspectors, and technicians to design efficient manufacturing processes leveraging machine capabilities. • Provide technical support to machine operators for resolving machining process issues. • Support production in new product launches including prove-outs, setup optimization, fixtures, tooling, and CNC programming troubleshooting.• Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews with design engineering teams to ensure feasible, cost-effective production solutions. • Review drawings for manufacturability and submitted Engineering Change Proposals (ECPR) when required. • Review and implement Technical Change Requests (TCRs) in manufacturing processes. • Develop rework/salvage manufacturing plans for discrepant (QN) parts to recover value. • Investigate machining-related quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions (RCCA). • Conduct root cause & corrective action (RCCA) analysis on scrap/rework and drive process improvement initiatives to minimize recurrence. • Evaluate non-conformances and provide dispositions in compliance with customer drawing and specification requirements. • Lead Kaizen events and support 5S initiatives on the shop floor to reduce waste and improve productivity.• Interface with suppliers for tooling development and machining capability improvement. • Work with vendors and subcontractors to assess and enhance external machining processes.
