I recently completed a Software Engineering Apprenticeship at American Express, where I built scalable applications using React, Node.js, and Firebase. I\'ve developed mobile apps, contributed to AI research impacting communities in Africa, and mentored students in programming fundamentals. Outside of tech, I\'ve led a dance team and worked on diversity initiatives in the tech space.    Built a fully offline, voice-interactive animatronic AI agent simulating a lifelike parrot personality, combining local LLM inference, speech processing, persistent memory, and real-time motor control.• Engineered a low-latency speech-to-speech pipeline in Python, integrating VAD, automatic speech transcription (SST), neural TTS, and DSP-based pitch/time modulation for expressive audio output.• Implemented a hybrid retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture using FAISS for semantic search over unstructured data and SQLite for structured facts and long-term personalization.• Developed a real-time emotion-to-motion control system, synchronizing LLM-generated emotional states with 23 servo motors for coordinated, lifelike behaviors.
