About Divyank Sood
Born in a small town in India, I always had one dream. A dream to explore the world and make a difference. In my very childhood, I discovered my affinity towards machines. This affinity became my driving force for my pursuit in engineering. At the age of 18, I left my country and moved to Dubai to join The Birla Institute of technology and science where my love for machines was nurtured with quality education. My curriculum inspired me to indulge in research and help me publish several research papers. Along with my research, I was involved with several ASME and FSAE teams which gave me an opportunity to better understand and apply my knowledge in a practical environment. With the completion of my Dubai chapter, my zeal to learn more inspired me to apply to the New York University for my master’s degree in Mechanical engineering where I am currently studying with a focus on energy conservation and fluid engineering. I believe that my education and love for the field will help me make an impact on the society and I am here looking for such opportunities.
