As a Software Engineer at TD Bank, I had the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of critical financial services applications, including the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) project. In this role, I specialized in Java development, working on multilayer projects to deliver robust and scalable solutions that met the evolving needs of both internal and external stakeholders.My responsibilities included developing and maintaining backend functionality using Java and Spring Boot, implementing features such as billing, audit log, and reporting functionalities for the Employee portal, as well as designing and implementing user rights and entitlements management, group management, payment authorizations, and exception processing for the Customer portal.Collaborating closely with UI developers and Quality Engineers, I ensured smooth integration and testing of frontend and backend functionalities, contributing to the seamless user experience of the applications. Additionally, I actively participated in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration across teams.My experience at TD Bank not only honed my technical skills but also provided me with valuable insights into the financial services industry and the importance of delivering secure, reliable, and user-friendly solutions to meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
