ABOUT DIVYA PAHUJA

I’m Divya Pahuja, a recent graduate of the Master of Real Estate and Infrastructure (MREI) program at Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto. Through this specialized program, I’ve strengthened my knowledge of the North American Real Estate and Infrastructure industry, evaluated several real estate investment opportunities and mastered investment and business structures, legal & regulatory frameworks and the project life cycle. Prior to studying at Schulich, I’ve worked as an Associate Analyst at CARE Ratings Ltd, a credit rating agency in India. I have strong experience in analyzing income producing properties, borrower and guarantor financial information, market conditions, and loan structures; for new and renewal credit requests for various commercial and residential real estate loans. With prior work experience in the financial services industry and having completed CFA Level I & II, I am now excited to strengthen my current skillset through roles in real estate finance, investments, valuations and asset management. The intersection of real estate with sustainability, technology and transit excite me, keeping me occupied with learnings from new developments. Alongside my professional interests, I derive happiness through dancing, playing badminton, decorating corners, writing poetry and listening to people’s life changing experiences. Because of my love for practicing Reiki, I’ve had the privilege of interacting with people from different backgrounds while helping them overcome their many challenges during the pandemic. I attribute my well-rounded personality to my hobbies as it has always given me a great platform to showcase my talent. I look forward to creating positive synergies and learning from each other.
