Responsible for defining RF architecture, Link budget, working with vendors for component selection, working with layout and PCB fabrication houses for stack up definition, and perform component level RF front end simulations and circuit simulations, optimize PCB design and layout using ADS (2.5D) and CST(3D EM). • Delivered products with roles including RF circuit and board Design, bring up, matching, validation and resolving issues in RF front end and Desense and certifying prospective customer Products. • Successfully executed new technology investigations. Developed Prototype boards, simulated, designed, characterized and validated board level RF parameter and systems level specification (transmit Power, receive sensitivity, Desense, co- existence, band / technology isolation requirements, interferer mitigation techniques). • Work with PEs and field teams to model the RF metrics like Wi-Fi channels used in congestion, interference and customer metrics like throughput, Rx Power and Range. • Use OrCAD for schematic development, Allegro cadence to layout and MATLAB, ADS, CST for RF circuit, layout, Desense simulations. • Work with several xFN teams like Electrical, mechanical product design, Thermal teams, Product Managers to define Product specification and work with Software, Vendors to debug issues and work with PEs to productize concepts and deliver products like Luna (Amazon\'s first WiFi gaming controller), FireTV cube, mesh network access points for indoor and outdoor topologies. Patent pending on some of the initiatives. worked on Product assessment, factory CM builds to release to customer. • Executed and delivered Validation Plans that included competitive analysis, defining and validating system architecture for RF subsystem performance, Power consumptions models for Wi-Fi BT/BLE, identifying Desense aggressors and proposing mitigation plans, OTA measurements for Antenna perf, characterizing user metrics like throughput, latency and range.
