As a Creative Producer at Chalkboard, my role is to- Evaluate pitches for long formats (fiction and non-fiction) and choose the right concepts to develop for screen as part of our slate- Identify books and international content for adaptations- Create and supervise concepts, stories and screenplays, to ensure the quality of storytelling isn’t compromised- Form collaborative teams of writers, directors and assistants that would give the best output in the most efficient timelines as per the projects need- Liaison between the creators and studios to strategise and take decisions on cast and creatives to reach a wider audience- Watch edits to fine-tune narratives- Strategise best ways for a film release and executing submissions for global film festivals - Execution of any marketing/PR activities from the production house’s perspective
