I’m an aspiring finance professional who graduated with an Honours BA in Economics and an Interdisciplinary Minor in Sustainability from McMaster University (CGPA: 11.2/12, Dean’s Honours List). My passion for finance stems from a deep curiosity about how markets function, how capital is allocated, and how data-backed insights can drive long-term value. 1) Professional Experience: At Nuvama Wealth, I supported portfolio construction for over INR 150 crore in AUM, evaluated a range of equities, debt instruments, and AIFs, and helped onboard more than 50 High- and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients. These efforts contributed to more substantial risk-adjusted returns and approximately 90% client retention. At Scotiabank and TD Bank, I handled high-volume client transactions, processing 160–200 transactions per day, managing vault and ATM operations exceeding $ and resolving over 25 fraud cases. I consistently exceeded both sales and service targets while delivering accurate, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. 2) Leadership & Initiative: As Director of Events for both the McMaster Economics Society and the Golden Key International Honours Society, I led cross-functional teams to plan and execute events that increased student engagement and participation by 30–45%. As Chief Marketing Officer at InternSea.ca, I drove content engagement up by 40%, increased the follower base by 35%, and reduced project delivery timelines by 55% through improved interdepartmental coordination and process enhancements. 3) Community Impact: At the Shyamali Bhalotia Memorial Trust, I volunteered as a Social Worker, organising over 10 fundraising events that raised INR 1 lakh to fund education for more than 50 children from underserved communities. 4) Ongoing Development: I continue to develop my financial and analytical skills through my current internship in Equity Research at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management, as well as through investment simulations with firms such as JP Morgan and Fidelity. 5) Interests: Outside of work, I’m an avid golfer and enjoy exploring real-world business models and investment strategies through shows like Shark Tank India and Dragons’ Den.
