ABOUT DIVESH JUMANI

I have always had a strong inclination in mathematics, finance and programming. I am currently a Quantitative Finance and Economics Director at EY. I have previous experience in financial reporting as well as developing capital models for an investments and savings company as a member of the Capital Model Development Team. I am a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries where I have cleared eight core technical papers. Throughout my academic and professional experience, I have gained the following skills:Analytical Skills: I have experience in analyzing and visualizing large data sets using R, Python, MATLAB and Visual Basic Applications. I have done extensive analysis in the movement of Best Estimate Liabilities between quarters. I have developed the Profit & Loss step though methodology for the capital movements which reduced the unexplained factors in capital movements considerably and done rigorous analysis for the development of financial models to calculate capital. I have analyzed and prepared visualizations of the recently released Paycheck Protection Program Loan Data using Python Plotly.Programming Skills: I have developed financial models for capital calculation which is based on a Visual Basic Application based script. I have experience in C++, Python, R Language, SAS and MATLAB programming languages which I have used for improving financial models at Prudential as well as for various projects at Georgia Tech. I have web development experience and have built the Financial Services Innovation Lab Website (fintech.gatech.edu) using JavaScript and interactive visualizations on the website using Plotly Python.I can be reached at j••••••••@gmail.com
