About Diva C. Hall

At Stillman, I have created a culture of Community Engagement and Outreach. As Partnership Development Coordinator, I established a partnership with the West Alabama Food Bank to develop a food pantry for Stillman students. We are excited to develop a new community of outreach for our students, faculty, and staff. In addition, I’ve advised & established a campus NAACP chapter, Co-Advised the Student Government Association & Campus Clubs & Organizations, schedule on & off campus volunteer opportunities, partnered with Bread For the World Inc. to end food insecurity, supervised the Residential Hall Association of 20 Residential Assistants, revamped Stillman’s off campus housing communities of more than 200 students. Diva’s Day of Giving is an annual community service project that was established in 2014. This organization was founded to serve the Stillman and Tuscaloosa communities through service and community outreach. Since then, Diva’s Day of Giving has been able to donate over forty-five Thanksgiving meals to the Stillman College custodial and cafeteria staff each year. We look forward to expanding to serve the community more abroad. Although we have worked to donate items during the Thanksgiving holiday, we would like our efforts geared more towards the Christmas holiday season.
