About Dishika Jaidker

My name is Dishika Jaidker, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Delhi with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science (Honours).I am presently undertaking my postgraduate studies in Bioinformatics, specializing in Computational Biology, at the esteemed Banaras Hindu University. My academic journey has provided me with a broad knowledge base in various scientific domains, including Bioinformatics, Toxicology, Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Cell Biology, and Clinical Research. I have hands-on experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, where I conducted Phase 4 oncology trials for breast and lung cancer sponsored by AstraZeneca and TechObserver. Additionally, I have managed data for a study on Sepsis and participated in a psychological behavior study of cancer patients assigned by IIM Ahmedabad. I have good skills in Python, R programming language. I have participated in various webinars related to Fatty liver disease at THSTI and volunteered at Dharamshilla Rahat (Palliative Care Centre,Delhi).I have worked in a Forensic Science workshop and have basic experience about cyber security, Crime scene investigation, Fingerprinting Analysis, Handwritten Analysis at Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi. I have also published an article in my college magazine on” How science Builds The Future”I have also contributed as a content writer for DU India (a social media platform) and Upranking. My coordination, communication, and management skills have been honed through my role as a coordinator for the National Service Scheme (NSS).This course has equipped me with a diverse range of knowledge spanning genetics, epidemiology, biostatistics, microbiology, molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, human medicine, research methods, and pharmacology. My passion lies in exploring new research frontiers, and I consider myself a dedicated problem solver. I am constantly on the lookout for innovative ideas and advancements in the field of science. My ultimate goal is to acquire practical knowledge and contribute to various areas of research. Therefore, I am actively seeking opportunities in the research field to further enhance my skills and make meaningful contributions.
