About Nicole Joyce
Nicole directs 15 hours of live newscasts on linear and digital platforms every week. With over 10 years of experience, her current role is at WTVD in Raleigh, NC. She has used 3 of the most widely used automation systems in broadcast TV: Ross Overdrive, Grass Valley Ignite, and Sony ELC, while also directing/TDing on a traditional Kayak switcher. She lead her team helping create a new hourlong 10am newscast which was a project brought on by ABC OTV for all company owned stations.Nicole is responsible for the quality and execution of everything seen and heard while working with a team of producers and talent to create engaging, informative broadcasts.
