I have a deep understanding of the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems that power equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders and dump trucks.Key Responsibilities:1. Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy earth-moving machinery to ensure their optimal performance and safety. This includes identifying issues, replacing parts, and conducting preventative maintenance.2. Technical Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to troubleshoot complex problems in heavy equipment. Understand technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.3. System Optimization: Analyze machine performance and suggest improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency, reliability, and lifespan of the equipment.4. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work meets safety standards and complies with industry regulations to protect the safety of operators and other personnel.5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with OEM requirements.6. Training and Supervision: Train operators and junior engineers on proper equipment usage and basic maintenance procedures. Supervise any outsourced or additional maintenance personnel when required.
