Led a team of 40 operators and three Line leaders in a multinational SUV,UV and HCV manufacturing company, responsible for planning and monitoring production activities in the weld shop, assembly shop. Implemented procedures, trained Operators, and provided technical advice to ensure efficient and high-quality production, while also played a key role in improving spot welding quality and eliminating dent damage on BIW. Played a key role in addressing a situation where Spot welding quality was poor & dent damage of BIW roof top. Successfully fitted Copper plates with spring plate and provided Gun guide on welding fixtures, to successfully improve Spot aesthetic. Received plant level leadership appreciation in the form of ‘Best quality improvement’ accolade in BIW. Played a pivotal role in Production ramp up from TTO/Ramp-up of Maxximo mini truck,Truck BIW and Cowl body to meet internal customer demands. Delivered education & training of job knowledge, creating operator skills & Quality awareness, health, safety & First aid, and coordinated with QA & Supplier to Improve Quality Of Component & Solve Problem. Successfully installed the new line of robotic spot welding and Fanuc 6-Axis robot welding, resolved all problems & regularized the production. Excellence in developing the new layout for existing shop for 5’S Improvement. Selected as a People Leader for Body Shop, with excellence & capability in areas of Manpower Recruitment & Management, Training, Reward & Recognition for Best Kaizen, Star Performer, Best Quality Achiever and solving HR-Administration related issues. Prepared SOP,SOS and updated PFMEA,control plan and PFC according to standard processes.
