ABOUT DIPAK SONAWANE

As a SDE-2 at Rockwell Automation, a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, I contribute to the development, optimization, and support of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions that drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability for our clients. My role spans both engineering and client-facing support, ensuring seamless performance of mission-critical applications used in regulated industries.I collaborate with cross-functional global teams to design, enhance, and maintain MES applications that integrate with cloud, edge, and IoT technologies, following agile methodologies and industry best practices. Alongside development, I play a key role in application support by troubleshooting incidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing long-term fixes — ensuring zero SLA breaches and minimal escalations.Previously, as a Software Engineer at Wipro, I worked on diverse projects across banking with morgan stanley also on healthcare, and education domains, where I developed and maintained web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, MySQL, and REST APIs. I also leveraged my program management and stakeholder communication skills to resolve client issues, streamline processes, and deliver quality outcomes within deadlines.I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PSGVPM’s D.N. Patel College of Engineering, with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and programming. In addition, I have multiple certifications in Java and DSA, and I continuously upskill in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and modern development practices to stay aligned with evolving industry needs.I am passionate about bridging the gap between development and support, ensuring that MES solutions are not only built to perform but also maintained to deliver consistent value for clients.
