ABOUT DIPAK MEHER
PhD student in Computer Science at George Mason University, working on extracting structured knowledge from unstructured data using large language models. My research addresses challenges in coreference resolution, entity disambiguation, and graph construction to build accurate and interpretable knowledge graphs. I also explore graph mining techniques to query these graphs and extract meaningful patterns, supporting downstream analytics and decision-making. Additionally, I also explore recommender systems research, aiming to improve personalization in sparse‑data environments by leveraging cross‑domain user behavior to deliver more reliable and explainable recommendations Previously, I built full-stack applications using Angular for the frontend and Spring Boot for the backend, with data stored in AWS RDS and Google Firestore. I containerized services using Docker and orchestrated deployments with Kubernetes and Docker Compose. I implemented CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git, automated workflows with Power Automate, and developed custom components with Power Platform and TypeScript for enterprise-grade systems. Technologies: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, BERT, LLaMA, Ollama APIs, GraphRAG, FastAPI, SLURM, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Spring Boot, Angular, Google Firestore, Power Platform Open to collaborations, idea exchanges, and connections with researchers and professionals passionate about AI, data-driven systems, and scalable technologies.
