   Hello, I am a SOC Analyst with over 2 years of hands-on experience working in a 24×7 security operations environment, currently supporting enterprise-level security monitoring at Securonix India Pvt. Ltd. My role mainly involves monitoring and triaging security alerts, investigating incidents, and helping ensure timely response to potential threats.On a daily basis, I work with Splunk SIEM to analyze alerts and identify suspicious activity. I investigate different types of incidents such as phishing emails, malware infections, and unusual user or network behavior. I also use tools like CrowdStrike EDR, Palo Alto Firewall, and proxy logs to gather more context and validate findings during investigations.A big part of my work includes phishing analysis, where I review reported emails, check headers, links, and attachments, and classify them as malicious or safe. I also perform IOC enrichment using tools like Recorded Future and VirusTotal to better understand threats and support decision-making during investigations.I have experience creating and tuning SIEM rules to reduce false positives and improve alert quality. Along with that, I contribute to SOC documentation, including runbooks and incident reports, to ensure consistent investigation processes across the team.I am familiar with frameworks like MITRE ATT & CK and National Institute of Standards and Technology, which help me understand attacker behavior and structure my analysis during incidents.Overall, I enjoy working in fast-paced SOC environments where I can continuously learn, improve detection capabilities, and contribute to protecting systems from evolving cyber threats.
