As a Process Engineer in Silicon HJT (Heterojunction) Solar Cell Manufacturing at RIL Giga-factory, my primary responsibility is developing, optimizing, and sustaining critical processes such as Intrinsic amorphous, doped amorphous and doped crystalline Silicon deposition, Transparent conductive oxide (TCO) coating to achieve high-efficiency solar cells. My role involves hands-on process control of PECVD, PVD, and wet process tools. I continuously monitor process parameters, troubleshoot deviations, and implement corrective measures to enhance process stability, yield, and overall cell performance.Collaboration with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams is integral to driving continuous improvement and ensuring efficient production line operations. I also utilize various characterization techniques—such as SEM, ellipsometry, and IV testing to validate process outcomes and support data-driven decisions. Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process logs, and change control records, is vital to ensure process consistency and adherence to quality standards.
