In addition, as a certified K–12 Computer Science teacher, I am qualified to teach technology courses across all grade levels.My role includes: • Designing and delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons on topics such as digital literacy, computer applications, network security, programming, and workplace readiness. • Using interactive tools like Nearpod, Kahoot, and Schoology to create dynamic, student-centered learning experiences across multiple states. • Building digital literacy and preparing students for college, certifications, and success in technology-driven careers. • Collaborating with facilitators, administrators, and instructional technologists to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment. • Adapting instruction to align with various state standards—currently Virginia CTE standards—with flexibility to teach in other regions through Proximity’s national partnerships.At the heart of my teaching is helping students understand not just the “how” of technology, but the “why”—why digital skills, data protection, and ethical practices matter for their future and the world they live in.
