About Dionna Wright
Social justice and equity have always been at the center of my educational and professional pursuits. I have extensive experience working in diverse settings and with diverse communities- utilizing a broad range of data to mobilize stakeholders and advocate for change at the individual, organizational, and policy levels. I have led and facilitated trainings related to data-driven decision making, Social Determinants of Health, DEI, Human Centered Design, and Design Thinking. I believe strongly in equipping stakeholders with the tools to use data as an intentional resource to help inform decision making that can lead to impactful, innovative, sustainable, and equitable change. In 2023 I developed a curriculum titled \"The Grassroots Growth Initiative\", a 12 week cohort based initiative that empowered 3 local grassroots organizations in York City to better understand data, and equip them with a skillset to identify metrics, generate impact reports to stakeholders, and apply for diverse funding sources in order to grow their organization and increase their impact. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow in my professional career, and its journey toward advancing societal equity.
