Dione currently serves as Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer & Controller at Valvoline Inc, where she began as Director of Corporate Accounting in August 2016 preceding Valvoline’s initial public offering. In her role, Dione oversees the organization\'s accounting functions, including the preparation and reporting of its consolidated financial statements, internal controls over financial reporting, accounts payable, tax compliance and accounting, and other areas of complex technical accounting, including acquisition, divestiture, financing, and other transaction support. Dione leads a team of talented financial experts that support these critical functions while maintaining a robust system of internal control designed to deliver consistent and accurate financial information in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Internal Revenue Service, and those of the federal, state and local governments in the jurisdictions in which Valvoline operates. Previously, Dione had nearly 17 years of assurance experience with PwC. Dione led the global audit efforts for Fortune 500 and multinational public technology companies and provided client service in areas including SEC reporting, US GAAP technical accounting matters, internal control over financial reporting and business process improvement. Dione was selected to serve as an internal expert for PwC’s National Professional Services Group for seven years, both in the National Office Quality Organization (2009 – 2011) and as a Chief Auditor for the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana (OKI) market (2011 – 2016) where she specialized in the application and evaluation of compliance with auditing and accounting standards. Dione is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Kentucky and Ohio and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the SOX & Internal Controls and SEC Professionals Groups.
