About Dione Francis

My career with Turner Construction began with a field engineer position and doing superintendent work on projects for AT & T and Honeywell. As I progressed, I progressed through different positions, such as taking over an assistant engineering role, then interiors estimating, procurement management, operations management, and interior operations management. I have been able to constantly build upon previous skills and have been able to learn more about different aspects of Turner that I had not been exposed to with each role transition. A large aspect of this growth was due to the types of projects I have worked on; I have a lot of experience with interior fit outs, but I later moved into industries such as the life sciences space and healthcare that required completely different systems for a successful build.With all the experience I have amassed, I know that each challenge is what allowed me to grow, both personally and professionally. I know that I am able to find creative solutions to challenges, and I know that I have amazing teams behind me that I can rely on to help. Each person that I work with is integral to the success of the projects and the company we work for. To that end, it is my role to make sure that our staff are getting as many opportunities as they can to grow and learn as I did.Outside of my role in the company, I enjoy supporting Turner’s initiatives that encourage employees to give back to their communities. I work to provide as many volunteer opportunities as possible for employees during Founder’s Month and I serve on the Women’s United Leadership Council that works to raise money for the cause, but also organizes events that allow people to directly give back to their communities.
