Kia Orāna! I proudly carry my heritage as a Cook Islands Māori and Tahitian woman. Born and raised WESTIE from Tāmaki Makaurau. I currently work for Auckland Council as a Project Coordinator in the newly formed Economic Development Office within the Social Innovation Unit. I’m deeply passionate about serving our Pacific & Māori communities with positivity, kindness, and genuine care. I consider myself strong, loyal, and dependable with easy-going qualities that shape both my personal and professional approach.I’m an idealist at heart, yet grounded in pragmatic action. One of my greatest strengths is embracing life as a young, loud, and proud Polynesian woman. Adaptable, empathetic, and innately curious, I thrive on solving problems creatively and collaborating with others to bring bold ideas to life.I’m driven by purpose and growth! I challenge myself to always be open to learning new information and gaining new skills to add to my He Kete Matāuranga(Basket of knowledge). I feel most empowered and alive in environments where my cultural identity is acknowledged and uplifted, and where respect and joy are part of my everyday fabric.A true foodie at heart, I’m always eager to discover new cafes and restaurants. I love a cheeky bevvy and a kanikani with friends, and I never miss a chance to chase hidden waterfall treasures across beautiful Aotearoa.
