Coordinates and supervises the engineering design activities related to one or more specific engineering systems (such as CAD 3D model, steel structures, FPSO module modularization,etc |.) that are critical for the project. Tasks : • Ensure that proper communications is set among the various disciplines involved in a defined engineering system with the aim to find optimized, integrated solutions.• Ensure the carrying out of the engineering activities in the defined engineering system aimed at the procurement of materials and construction services.• Ensure the preparation of construction document in the defined engineering system giving the correct priority and sequences, in accordance with defined plans and consistent with the construction schedule.• Supports Project Technical Manager in coordinating and supervising the execution of engineering activities related to a defined engineering system carried out in outsourced engineering centers.• Supports Project Technical Manager and Project Manager in the relations with the Client regarding the defined engineering system.• Ensure the review and application of the contractual documents within his area of responsibility.• Ensure that, within his area of responsibility, proper interdisciplinary verifications and controls take place during the development of engineering activities with the scope to minimize changes during construction.• Analyze, within his area of responsibility, criticalities in construction program and prepare and activate recovery plans when needed.• Manage the changes in engineering limiting the impact on construction feasibility.• Elaborate specific plans within his area of responsibility to monitor and Elaborate specific plans within his area of responsibility to monitor and control all necessary parameters and manage the variances.• Approve engineering documents within its area of responsibility.• Contribute to project reporting for the engineering part.
