In my current role, I am leading end-to-end regional activities related to efficient management of executive operations and a range of transformational programs across seven hospitals with a number of beds ranging from 32 to 420+, including Southern California Hospital at Culver City, Hollywood, and Van Nuys, Los Angeles Community Hospital at Los Angeles, Norwalk, and Bellflower, and Foothill Regional Medical Center. I am heading functions associated with effective oversight of cross-functional divisions in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology, involving Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), hematology, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, surgical pathology, cytopathology, phlebotomy, laboratory compliance, quality assurance, point-of-care, support services, and outreach. I am overseeing all facets of EKG and Non-Invasive Vascular for Respiratory and Cardiology. I am directing the full lifecycle of budget control and management.• Saved costs via process restructuring and standardization.• Confirmed seamless collection and coordination of quality assurance data to aid in the compliance program.• Devised and deployed initiatives to improve customer service, optimize the experience, and attain maximum satisfaction.• Ensured compliance and maintained laboratories/hospitals\' accreditation with TJC, CAP, and CDPH by implementing state and federal regulatory changes.• Achieved excellence in patient care via strategic planning and implementation of quality assurance programs and clinical process/performance improvement initiatives.• Strengthened employee relationships to increase engagement and maintain an optimal flow of intra and interdepartmental communication.
