About Dino Bovell
I am currently a Vice President of Business Affairs with NBCUniversal (“NBCU”), a multinational media conglomerate. I previously worked as in-house counsel in NBCU’s corporate and film divisions. I\'ve helped shape the business and legal strategies behind some of Hollywood’s most iconic film and television properties – negotiating landmark deals and advising creative teams on projects ranging from Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Saturday Night Live to Love Island USA, Bravo’s hit reality franchises, and multiple Olympic Games. Before joining NBCU, I practiced labor and employment law with two leading international firms in New York City. Outside of my corporate work, I am an active civic leader and frequently invited to speak at national conferences, law firms, and universities about career and life design. I formerly served as global co-chair of NBCU’s legal inclusion committee, and currently sit on the board of directors for Soccer Without Borders, an international non-profit, and the alumni board for Indiana University Maurer School of Law (“IU Maurer”). I am a past recipient of the National Bar Association’s “40 Lawyers Under 40” award and was a 2023 Council of Urban Professionals fellow. In 2026, I was named a fellow in the inaugural class of the Aspen Institute’s Michael D. Eisner Arts & Culture Fellowship. I earned my bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis and my law degree from IU Maurer, where I was an E.W. Kintner Merit Scholar. My personal passions include sports (playing soccer and cheering on the New York Knicks/Giants), fashion, travel, and my Mini Cavapoo named Robin.
