ABOUT DINESH B.
With over 15 years of academic experience, I currently serve as Associate Dean at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences. My role focuses on leading the development and implementation of a Health Systems Science framework to enhance medical education and improve population health outcomes. Collaborating with health systems and clinical affiliates, I aim to foster impactful training for students, residents, fellows, and faculty while positioning UND SMHS at the forefront of health systems education innovation. As the Quality and Safety Officer for Graduate Medical Education, I oversee institutional quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across residency and fellowship programs. My efforts focus on integrating quality improvement practices with medical education, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
