About Dinesh Sekar

I have experience in E-Procurement (Supplier Collaboration Portals for Road Construction, Steel Manufacturing, and Oil Refineries) and SAP MM, mainly in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) area. My work mostly involves understanding requirements from procurement users and supporting or implementing them in E-Procurement systems integrated with backend ERPs like SAP ECC/S4HANA. I have worked in both waterfall project setups and Agile methodologies, where requirement clarity and proper testing were very important.I have hands-on experience in PR, PO, GR, and Invoice Verification processes, along with vendor and material master support. I have also worked on SAP and non-SAP integrations, where I validate data flow between systems. For integrations, I have handled SAP OData services, used Postman for API testing, and worked with SAP BTP–based integrations.I am comfortable with manual testing, including UAT, integration testing, and regression testing, and I regularly support business users during testing and production issues. Overall, I have good functional knowledge in Procurement modules such as Vendor Management, Sourcing, Auctions (Forward and Reverse), Contract Lifecycle Management, and SAP MM, along with integration exposure, and I am used to working closely with business users, product teams, stakeholders, and technical teams.
